An amazing original stamped (with plate) Featherston TY wingback chair timber version, design by Grant Featherston from the 1950's which is an iconic Australian piece of designer history. Been fully restored bottom up and to match the original design has lovely matching studs on the back to compliment the full anile Italian leather in an ox blood burgundy red fabric. The legs and frame went through a full bottom up restoration to match. The complex curves and upholstery has been expertly done by the best in Australia...Upholstery Direct. This authentic Featherston chair displays a superior level of quality and design. They’re a fantastic design distinctly 50’s but they’d also look great in a modern space. The shape of the back and the sweeping lines in the leg section looks amazing. This pair ticks all the boxes stunning form, very comfortable, unique styling and durable construction.

Frame/wood: Has been fully restored with multiple sanding and oil wax for finishing. Any major chips have been filled in with putty but hardly noticeable (refer to pics and videos)
Cushions: brand new foam soft to med firm sitting back, med - high on bum
Excellent condition with new upholstery completed by the finest in Melbourne - Upholstery Direct
