Planet lamp studio K white mustard green adjustable 1960s MCM

Most influential of this period is undoubtedly the iconic Australian classic, the Studio K, designed by Bill Iggulden and released in 1962. The Studio K was widely exhibited internationally and is one of a few truly original examples Australian Industrial Design available during these years, and it is still a sought after light by both domestic and international Collector's. The Studio K Planet lamp is a highly desirable piece of Australian industrial design. Its simplistic shape and bold colours captured the imagination of post-war Australia and it is still being produced (although in limited quantities) today by Planet Lighting. Designed in 1962 by Bill Iggulden, the Studio K lamp was the 'it' item among the general public and many architects and designers. Strong and durable with an industrial edge, the lamp won many awards such as the Australian Design Award and the Prince Philip Design Prize: not bad for a task lamp produced by an Australian family business.

There are 2 studio K Original planet lamp from the 60s with great range of movement and height (this is the floor/standup version not small one). The off white (white) is also made by Planet lamp and is also adjustable in height and horizontal movement and has two bulbs/lamps instead of one. Green and mustard are in very good condition, not brand new, has a few scratches and marks here and there, refer to photos and videos
White one paint down the bottom of the base has come off and has more scratches and marks than the other two

Excellent, no flickering of light, bulb and wiring works fine, no rips or tears in the cable or wiring. Base and poles are not bent and sturdy
