Product Description Full:

A beautifully fully restored chest of drawers that is petit in size but large in character. Originally in a dark walnut color (suspected in Tasmanian myrtle or Walnut) this has been sanded back and stained in a lovely golden teak with beautiful colors and wood grains showing througout. We have sourced information that this was made by Myer in the 50s and 60s hence a MCM era, it is very solid, well built chest of drawers. The natural wood tones and patterns shine throughout as does the lovely brass handles on each 6 of the very thin drawers. This would sit perfectly from a lounge room, bedroom, hallway as it's small in size however could also be a show piece.

Golden with hints of brown in honeycomb teak stain followed by several coats of oil wax. This has been fully restored (any marks and/or chips being filled with the closest color to the stain or wax color), then sanded several times of different grits, in between several layers of oil based wax for longer durable wear. Inside drawers has marks and scratches consistent with age. This has not been given a top 9 rating as the inside of the drawers has several marks (but easily covered with lining) as well as several dark marks/stains in the wood (natural) refer to the pictures)

Functional Condition:

Excellent, functionally no wobbles or warping in the wood, does not rock, no structural damage evident, sturdy as she can get.
