A bespoke wall unit drinks cabinet made in Melbourne Australia circa 1960-1970s, a beautiful mid-century decorative wall unit made by furniture artisan Rudowski. Like Zoureff and Rosando Furniture, Rudowski is one of the mid-century modern makers of Melbourne as a "Tier 1" Australian cabinet maker his furniture rarely comes to market and is highly collectable. Many of his Melbourne clients were mid-century modernist architects and designers.

 A rare and sophisticated statement piece, this custom wall bar unit by Jacob Rudowski is a testament to the high-end craftsmanship of mid-century Australian design. Combining architectural geometry with practical luxury, it features Rudowski's signature attention to detail and unique decorative flourishes.

Design & Features

Signature Detailing: The front of the unit is adorned with four distinctive hexagonal timber motifs, each featuring a carved central handle.

Upper Gallery: A glass-topped display section sits above a decorative lattice of star-shaped timber cutouts against a contrasting white background, providing a striking visual accent.

Functional Storage: The lower section opens to reveal a spacious interior with a built-in shelf and a lower pull-out drawer, perfect for storing barware and spirits.

Mobile Versatility: Set on sturdy castors, this substantial piece can be easily repositioned to serve as a focal point for entertaining.

Cosmetic Condition:

9/10 The previous owners were fastidious and kept this in excellent condition, obviously from MCM era there is very minor signs of wear, however we have restored as best as possible with a good thorough clean (no need to sand and fully restored as such it underwent a light Danish oil restoration)

Functional Condition:

Excellent, functionally no wobbles or warping in the wood, does not rock, no structural damage evident, sturdy as she can get. We would rate this out of 10 but alas a 10 means its new and showroom condition
