A dedicated workshop upholstery restoration service for an Australian mid-century Avalon lounge suite, covering the complete cushion remaking and reupholstering for a two-seater couch and two single armchairs.
Design & Features
- Pattern Tailoring: Precise replication of the original cushion pattern, featuring inside top-stitching with clean, plain edges (no exterior piping or top-stitching unless present on original covers).
- Premium Enduro Base Support: Fitted with four (4) new high-density Enduro foam seat inserts cut to exact workshop-measured dimensions.
- Plush Back Comfort: Fitted with four (4) new soft-grade foam back inserts cut to original profile specifications.
- Dacron Soft-Wrap Finish: All foam inserts are fully wrapped in premium 100 GSM Dacron to protect the foam, smooth out edges, and give the outer fabric a plush, filled finish.
- Authentic Underlay Refitting: Professional refitting of the three (3) base underlays across the two-seater couch and two single armchairs to match the original Avalon design.
Specifications & Condition (Service Details)
- Suite Scope Included: Labor, foam inserts, Dacron wrapping, and underlay refitting for one (1) 2-seater couch and two (2) single armchairs (4 seat cushions, 4 back cushions total).
- Fabric Requirement: Requires approximately 8-10 meters of upholstery fabric for the full suite (depending on width of fabric as they come in different sizes)
- Exclusions: Strictly excludes raw fabric costs, timber frame work, frame repair, sanding, re-staining, or wood refinishing.
- Turnaround Time: 2 to 4 weeks from item arrival at workshop and full upfront payment confirmation.
