Golden teak Authentic Parker oval dining table MCM extendable drop 1960s
Vintage Parker original extendable oval shaped drop leaf dining table from the 1960s, this has been fully restored (not that it needed it) with several light sands followed by 2 layers of oil wax (sanding in between). Can be used in a small apartment or house as both sides extend, drop leaf, out to make a larger table, comfortably sits 6 peopl extended (2 carvers on each end, 4 with 2 on each side/width) obviously does not come with chairs.
This table is authentic Parker pieces getting rarer by the day get yourself a piece of Australian history, an excellent addition to any Collector's living area.
Please note we have 4 Parker matchstick chairs (as well as 6 other parker dining chairs) to match the table (listed separately) not part of this sale
Overall Condition:
Excellent condition to mint condition for its age from the 60s with very minor scratches on the legs and top consistent with age. The top of the table has been restored several times with a very light sand (as the condition was next to perfect) in the veneer (not all the way through) and lathered in our Danish oil. The color is golden teak that looks brighter than the golden brown wood tone. No rips, major scratches, holes or dents (legs) once again consistent with age. There is one small mark (refer to pictures) however are not noticeable (cannot be sanded away without going through veneer)
Excellent, functionally no wobbles or warping in the legs/frames, does not rock, no structural damage evident, sturdy as she can get
