A lovely MCM Fler original SC55 armchair from the 1960s and has been through a full restoration. The SC55 is an iconic MCM armchair with lovely curves and paddles, showing different colours of timber as its been sanded all the way back with a oil/wax finish instead of the original darker stain colour. The aluminium or steel frame has been sanded and painted in lovely black gloss paint only where it shows or is required. The wooden arm paddles have also been sanded and wax to show that lovely natural wood grain (suspected mix of teak and blackwood). The frames are in excellent condition with very minor marks throughout almost flawless given restoration (refer to enlarged photos or video on url shortcut for cosmetic condition). New foam, webbing installed on the bottom and back along with new Mingle Mangle Zepel Turtle fabric showing that lovely boucle green, white and cream colours. We also have another pair ready for restoration and you can chose your own colour and fabric

Excellent for its age from the 60s with some very minor scratches on the frame consistent with age. The fabric, foam and webbing is brand new and is in excellent condition. There is an option to chose a different fabric and colour (leather, wool, PL etc) as we have an extensive sample/hanger selection) at additional cost. Has been cleaned, restored and the frame has been sanded and painted twice in black gloss.

Functional Condition:

Excellent, functionally no wobbles or warping in the frame. Back of frame also has new webbing for a comfortable and solid sit, along with brand new foam to compliment the webbing and new PL blend fabric.
