Original Parker rattan modular lounge couch set MCM restored 1970s

Product Description Full:

A genuine Parker modular 5 piece lounge suite couch with a beautiful rattan back and timber frame (suspected blackwood mainly dark brown throughout). The modular set (popular in the 70s) means it can be arranged in multiple formations as per pictures and videos on our website. Please note the colour is mainly a light cream in a lovely velour with no piling or marks. VL has undertaken a light restoration (vs a full restoration refer to FAQ) as the foam and fabric is new (2 years ago) and does not warrant a full restore (however this option is available at additional cost if you want new fabric).

This rare and beautiful piece is part of the Parker range from the 1970s. Genuine Parker furniture is getting rarer by the day get yourself a piece of Australian history. An excellent addition to any Collector's living area.

Frame/wood: 9/10 has been lightly restored light sand and oil wax for finishing. Any major chips have been filled in with putty but hardly noticeable (refer to pics and videos)

Cushions: 9/10: brand new foam in the past 2 years, soft - med firm sitting back, med - high on bum

Fabric & upholstery: 8/10, we decided to keep the original fabric however as it’s original there are some very scratches and marks. Has been professionally dry cleaned several times to remove previous stains. Option to reupholster at additional cost enquire within

Functional Condition:

Excellent, functionally no wobbles or warping in the wood. No cracks sturdy and strong, these are super comfy if you like a light to med fit
