Product Description Full:
An original Parker 1960s 6 drawer dresser table that can be used as a sideboard or buffet (given the drawers/compartments) or general sideboard. This one is a beautiful piece part of the Parker Nordic range from the 1960s. This has been restored (filled any gaps, sanded and oil waxed several times) for that Scandinavian golden brown look and feel.
Surfaced in Teak over firstly solid timber then ply and finally particle board, with the top drawer having the Blue felt traditionally for jewerly, ties, etc but can be used for bar items or cutlery). Refer to URL for several videos for footage of condition.
Genuine Parker furniture is getting rarer by the day get yourself a piece of Australian history. Sideboard would be an excellent addition to any Collector's living area.

This has been restored (with all marks and chips being filled with the closest color to the wax color), then sanded several times of different grits, in between several layers of oil based wax for longer durable wear. The inside drawer has the original blue felt with the dividers which was originally designed for cutlery and crockery. Please note that all gaps filled will show areas of difference between wood grain and puddy, however these are only noticeable on close inspection and blends in nicely with oil and wax color.

Excellent, functionally no wobbles or warping in the wood, drawers open and close freely, this is a sturdy as she can get.
