Refinishing of dining table mid century teak

Restoration services for this item include:

Scope of works:

one mcm extendable dining table

- dining table be stripped and fully sanded, and "bleached" 2 coats of osmo satin finish to bring the original natural colours and grain out from the timber. No stains will be used. The finish will be satin not matte or gloss

- fill in smaller pieces of missing veneer or holes with wax or gap filler, remove all minor to medium scratches marks prior to refinishing, med sized pieces missing we will veneer match

- pickup and dropoff (disassembly at customers premise for table top and legs) we will not take legs to shop if possible

Time to complete & deliver:

- best case 2 days 

- worst case 4 weeks

- most likely 1 weeks

Commence 20-22nd May estimated end of May (once deposit is made time commences from there)

Additional items (in scope with no charge):

- shrink wrap or blanket table tops for secure transport

Out of scope:

- no major structural work like big cracks or missing timber bracket work etc 

- no staining - if the colour does not match after bleaching we will inform you for decision to continue as is with natural oil wax or stain to get a more uniform and consistent colour before applying final oil wax finish. staining is additional roughly $300-400 depending on how many layers is required to even it out.

T&C:

There is a small risk that the veneer on the table top may be too thin (usually depends on age, timber used from manufacturer and wear). It is our best intention not to go through any veneer however there is a risk that this may occur and as above we will paint grain as required if this occurs.
