Restoration of antique dining chairs

Restoration services for this item include:

Scope of works:

6 dining chairs antique 

- Full timber restoration (strip, sand and osmo oil wax finish in satin)

- Full upholstery (including using new thin firm cerex foam to cover the existing base), new Warwick fabric and either piping or lace like original. 

Time to complete & deliver:

- best case 4 weeks

- worst case 12 weeks

- most likely 6 weeks

Refer to pricing, payment made on customer frequency, small deposit required to commence

Additional items (in scope with no charge):

• felt underneath
• pickup and delivery 

Out of scope:

- no very major structural work, small cracks and breaks we can repair but anything beyond that will be scope and we will notify you prior.

T&C:

There is a small risk that the timber frame may turn out much darker after the paint stripping, this is due to any previous chemicals/finishes that may have been used in the previous paints and/or primers (usually acid based finishes which is rare). Although this is a small risk and we've only seen it happen once VL cannot be held responsible for this and is accepted by the client.
