Restoration services for this item include:

Scope of works:

1) 3 x Kai K dining chairs as pictured

2) chair 1 broken leg - this requires a whole new leg, this chair is complex and requires the backrest to be removed as well as the sides. We will match the timber and finish to the remaining of the chair as well as new dowels (you need new dowels on all chair on the backrests in order to remove the backrests - including chairs 2 and 3)

3) chair 2 snapped internal back mechanism - as pictured we have to completely strip the back and leather, this is just as complex if not more than chair 1 given the design)

4) chair 3 missing dowell to match shape and colour if possible (there is also a missing bolt!)

Time to complete & deliver:

- best case 3 weeks

- worst case 6 weeks

- most likely 5 weeks

- shrink wrap items for safe transport (on request)

- quick clean of timber and leather (removal of dirt and grime)

Out of scope:

- sanding and oilng, finishing work on the timber except chair 1

T&C:

Although we stand by our gold service restorations there maybe future issues with these chairs in general even after we've restored them. We ask that you refer to the place of purchase specifically their t&C for max kgs weight usage etc We cannot guarantee that these issues for those three chairs will NOT occur again - we use the best tools and where required use external contractors to do specific parts of repair and restoration work
