Restoration pair of Eames chairs replica

Restoration services for this item include:

Scope of works:

1. Two original Charles Eames replica armchairs only no ottoman.

2. Removal and/or fixing of broken mounts and secure with strong epoxy adhesive. Repeat same process on other side or resource existing with adhesive

3. Fix and repair two swivel bases to avoid rocking

4. Align timber pieces to ensure as straight as possible (note that as these are replicas items there are constraints with the quality of the materials used and could degrade over time quicker than originals). We also note that the previous work completed was very poor so we have improved as best as possible. We have sat and tested these chairs and can confidently compare against originals. We believe the work done is of the highest quality and used same techniques as we would on originals

6. Pickup and delivery of items from Sydney Metro area (within 30kms of CBD). 

Out of scope:

5. MAJOR structural work e.g frame or legs are loose, not working or damaged. Full inspection will be carried out on arrival to ensure that structural joints, etc is in tact. 

6. Everything else that is not listed in scope, effectively this is to fix the mounts only nothing else (however does include disassembly and reassembly)

- most likely 6 weeks

Note: vintage luxury may opt to restore these items at either Sydney or Melbourne location depending on timeframes and work required
