Tessa Coffee table smoke glass teak original MCM restored CT4/S Fred Lowen
A lovely Australian original Tessa medium size coffee table (believe its a Fred Lowen design) in teak wood with round curved edges and smoke glass table top. This beautiful piece is part of the Tessa range from the 1960s and has been fully restored (legs/bottom frame) sanded and oil waxed several times for longer durability. The color of the wood has mixes of brown, golden honeycomb throughout in a beautiful teak wood, the top glass is a smoke grey black see through mirror (has minor scratches hardly noticeable)
This rare and beautiful piece is part of the Tessa range from the 1960s. Genuine Tessa furniture is getting rarer by the day get yourself a piece of Australian history. An excellent addition to any Collector's living area.
Excellent for its age from the 60s with very minor scratches on the legs or top consistent with age. No rips, scratches, holes or dents (legs). Legs/wood frame and table top has been fully restored with any marks and chips (if applicable) being filled with the closest color (to the wood to match color), then sanded several times of different grits, in between several layers of oil based wax for longer durable wear.
Excellent, functionally no wobbles or warping in the wood. No cracks sturdy and strong
