Tessa T21 Lounge couch 3 seater Fred Lowen Blackwood immaculate

Occassionaly you come across previous owners thats have kept furniture tucked away in a spare room that has plastic cover or gets used maybe once a year...wait not more this is it. In immaculate condition 3 seater couch lounge Tessa (in 1970 Fred Lowen designed the T-21 range) with original velour fabric in a golden honeycomb color flowered pattern. One previous owner who kept it in immaculate condition as shown by the photos (refer to cosmetic description), the retro fabric may look outdated but the comfort is not, with all cushions medium density to firm sitting, that hugs your body comfortably. Lean back to the headrests and sink into that lovely velour feel that is perfect for winter and not sticky during summer. The T21 model features those beautiful legs and armrests with a comfortable cushion finish. The Australian Blackwood and cast steel frame legs are in excellent condition with no major marks consistent with age

We also have the matching swivel two seater armchairs that go with this set (same color, condition and finish) but in a separate listing (enquire within if you would like to purchase the full suite which is the three seater and pair of armchairs). We also offer a full restoration service with plenty of fabric to chose from Zepel fabric range, however this would be an additional cost to the purchase price

Overall Condition:

Excellent to mint condition for its age from the 70s with some minor scratches on the legs consistent with age however these have been oiled and blended in with our natural oil based wax. The fabric is velour and wool blend and has been cleaned and is almost in showroom condition. No rips, scratches, holes or dents (legs or fabric) once again consistent with age. These have been cleaned, restored and the wood has been lathered in danish oil.

Excellent, functionally no wobbles or warping in the wood or legs. No cracks sturdy and strong, the cushions are comfortable and have not been reupholsted not that it needed it as the cushions and webbings are strong yet comfortable.
