Zoureff Rudowski coffee table tv glass intricate table MCM 1960s authentic restored
A rare unique Zoureff or Rudowski coffee or tv table with sharp edges in golden teak, restored as closely as possible to its original state. The unique shape of the table has 8 turning or sharp points and is two story/deck/levels, and as per pictures plenty of room to hide, store and place items on both levels, it easily fits a large, wide TV or audio equipment but who watches TV these days this is more of a display piece. It has been restored as best as possible (refer to ratings) and has a lovely golden yellow teak color vs brown. The original had a glass fascia ontop which we remade through South Melbourne Glass and is a toughened glass (vs a laminate glass) as the name suggests less risk/prone to damage and breaking. The legs are also a unique Danish shape and look and has several sliders for easier use.
Before you send us a message to correct us (we are just as interested as you are), we believe this is either a Zoureff or Rudowski furniture piece as we picked up from the same estate as the full lounge modular suite piece that has the exact matching legs (refer to other listing). Either way it is 100% authentic Zoureff or Rudowski (we are in the process of authenticating) and if you have one of these in your living area you have a very rare item.
Overall Condition:
8/10
Very good to excellent condition for its age from the 60s with small scratches on the legs and along the balck lines on the sides, however this has been through a full restoration with several layers of sanding, and oil wax. Has been fully cleaned and restored so any major dents or scratches have been filled, sanded and lathered in oil. No major rips, scratches, holes or dents, consistent with age (refer to pics, and if applicable videos have been added on URL on the website)
Excellent, functionally no wobbles or warping in the wood, legs have been glued onto frame for additional stability
